Fluvial Beaches and Pools of the Lousã Municipality are assumed as places of election in the summer months
The characteristic warm days of summer make people look for spaces where they can, in a quiet and refreshing environment, "retemper" forces, rest or simply swim and be in contact with water and nature.
The Municipality of Lousã has a number of quality bathing facilities, namely the Grace River Beaches of Mrs. Graça in the Parish of Serpins, Bogueira in Casal de Ermio and the Natural Pools of Mrs. da Piedade and Swimming Pool of the Carlos Reis Park in Lousã.
With the aim of facilitating access to river areas, the City Council has created a specific transport service that since June 23 to date has registered more than 500 people transported, which is the relevant contribution to the dynamism of spaces and mobility to and from the various parishes.
Regarding the Parque Carlos Reis Pool, it is worth mentioning the centrality and quality of the space that has led to more than 5500 uses since its opening to date.
According to the President of the Autarchy, Luís Antunes, "the strong demand for these spaces demonstrates the importance of these spaces and the investments they make, both for the Lousã people and for the tourists who, at this time of year, choose Lousã as a destination in their time of leisure ".
